		<description>It strikes me that the PATIENT should have PRIMARY CONTROL over the information that&#039;s available to a physician or any other provider, for that matter.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;It could be that this is something more applicable to women&#039;s health than men&#039;s typical health issues.  Doctors are just as human as the rest of us and we all come with our own prejudices about things outside our personal experience.  Some women&#039;s health issues are easily misinterpreted by others, no matter what their profession or specialty.  Simple PMS isn&#039;t recognized by some health care providers.  Enough said.&lt;br&gt; &lt;br&gt;Bottom line, regardless of gender, it&#039;s the PHYSICIAN&#039;S RESPONSIBILITY TO be able to BUILD THE TRUST of any patient in order to allow unrestricted permission to that patient&#039;s health records (imho).</description>
