I've always been a Republican. But it's really hard to be all philosophical about the role of government in my life when I have to make the decision between rent/utilities/food and cobra payment (which is kinda affordable now–thanks, Obama). I actually have the opportunity to take more than unemployment and disqualify myself for Medicaid.

Until I decide which I will foregoe (rent, utilities or cobra), I pray no one needs to go to the ER and that weird mole on my chest doesn't become an issue.
